Significant Score Increase, SIG Receives Informative Award from the Central Information Commission
Ahead of the end of 2025, PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) has achieved an achievement by receiving the Informative Award from the Central Information Commission (KIP) regarding the results of monitoring and evaluating public information openness in public bodies in 2025.
The award was handed over by the Commissioner for Advocacy, Socialization, and Education of KIP, Samrotunnajah Ismail to the Senior Manager of External Communication SIG, Novi Maryanti at the Public Information Disclosure Award and the Launch of the Public Information Disclosure Index for 2025 at the Bidakara Hotel, Jakarta, on Monday, December 15.
The Informative predicate was awarded by KIP for the implementation of transparent, accountable, and participatory information openness principles. This year, SIG received the Informative Predicate for the State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) category with a score of 94.79, up significantly from 75.57 in 2024.
SIG's Corporate Secretary, Vita Mahreyni, expressed gratitude for the support of the management and all work units at SIG, while confirming the Company's commitment to consistent efforts to improve the governance of public information services.
"This achievement is a manifestation of SIG's commitment to conducting business and operations sustainably, including transparent and accountable information disclosure which is a public right as mandated in Law Number 14 of 2008 concerning Public Information Disclosure," said Vita Mahreyni.
Vita Mahreyni underlined that for SIG, good governance practices, especially in public information openness, are not only to comply with applicable regulations, but an important part to realize responsibility through professional, effective, and efficient management. In this way, SIG adds the Company's contribution to the national economy by improving the climate conducive to investment development.
SIG's efforts to improve the governance of public information services, including through the organization of the Public Information Disclosure Education Forum with nine BUMN Infrastructure Clusters to increase insight and benchmarking, socialization and assistance in filling monitoring and evaluation (monev) for SIG work units, improving the features of PPID (Information and Documentation Management Officer) on the Company's website, and developing the ePPID application which can be downloaded on the Play Store to provide flexibility for the public to obtain public information services.
