Prabowo Receives BNPB Report on Additional Personnel Needs in Aceh

PADANG - President Prabowo Subianto received a report from the Head of the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) Suharyanto regarding the additional need for TNI and Polri personnel in the Aceh region which is still affected by mud puddles.

"The head of BNPB reported and asked for additional personnel from both the TNI and the National Police, especially in several areas in Aceh that are still flooded with mud," said Secretary of State Prasetyo Hadi at the Minangkabau International Airport, Padang, West Sumatra, Thursday, December 18, reported by ANTARA.

Prasetyo said that several areas in Aceh that were still flooded with mud, including Aceh Tamiang and East Aceh, still needed additional personnel.

Prasetyo said President Prabowo also paid attention to various issues that were part of the evaluation of disaster handling.

Starting from environmental issues, forest area control, mining permits, and business activities on the riverbanks.

"That is the concern of the President who has just been conveyed to the relevant parties, both governors, deputy governors, and regents," said Prasetyo.
