Anti Mainstream, Honda Square X125 Comes in Box and Functional

JAKARTA - Honda has a motor with an unusual design in China, the result of its joint venture company Sundiro Honda. Unlike some countries, the design is very unique.

Citing the Greatbikers website, Thursday, December 18, this motorcycle is one of the vehicles that is most talked about because of its unconventional concept and defies all market trends.

In appearance, it is aggressive and square in shape throughout. This motorcycle is designed to be upright, giving it a rough, thick, and sturdy look, very contrasting with modern scooters that emphasize aerodynamic lines.

The front lights are in the form of a thin rectangular strip with five lights arranged in one line, while the rear lights are in the form of four rectangular strips, giving a modern look.

The overall design is reminiscent of Honda's past experimental models such as the Zoomer and PS250, which prioritize functionality over aesthetics.

This motorcycle offers flexibility, the passenger seat can be folded, creating a spacious cargo space, or used as a backrest for the rider. Front racks, side racks, and additional support frames can be installed to increase cargo capacity.

Even the tube above the fuel tank under the frame is designed to be used as a storage area. In addition, there is a special rear storage box that can be opened to be used as a small table, ideal for touring or camping.

In terms of the drive system, Honda chose an eSP 124cc air-cooled engine, which produces a maximum power of 7.0 kW at 7,750 rpm and a maximum torque of 10 Nm at 5,750 rpm. The average fuel consumption is around 59 km/liter.

The Honda Square X125 is available in China at a price of 12,680 yuan or Rp30 million.
