JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto joined in eating a plate of fried rice cooked by TNI soldiers with refugee mothers in the public kitchen of the Salareh Aia refugee post, Palembayan District, Agam Regency, West Sumatra (Sumbar), Thursday, December 18.
At the refugee post, the President visited the communal kitchen, whose cook was mostly TNI soldiers, assisted by refugee mothers. The President then checked the breakfast menu that was cooked for the refugees, namely fried rice and fried eggs.
The President then approached the cooks and greeted them, then in another kitchen area, one of the cooks prepared a plate of fried rice complete with a hard-boiled egg for the President to eat.
"This is fried rice because I'm the one who came, right?" the President asked the cooks, quoted by Antara.
"In a number of events, the President said fried rice was his favorite food.
"I'm not sure if it's fried rice or fried rice," said Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, who stood next to the President, then asked the taste of fried rice eaten by the President.
"It's pretty good, it's delicious," said the President, who stood next to Defense Minister Sajafrie while eating fried rice made in the public kitchen at the SDN 05 Kayu Pasak refugee camp, Salareh Aia, Agam.

The President then toured the evacuation area, greeted a number of residents who were scrambling to shake hands with the President. The President also entered the "trauma healing" tent and checked on the children.
During his visit, President Prabowo was accompanied by the Head of the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) Lieutenant General TNI Suharyanto, Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian, TNI Commander General TNI Agus Subiyanto, National Police Chief General Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, Head of the Government Communication Agency Angga Raka Prabowo, and Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia.
