Menaker Urges Companies to Implement WFA 29-31 December 2025
JAKARTA - Minister of Manpower Yassierli appealed to companies to implement Work From Anywhere (WFA) for workers/workers on December 29 to 31, 2025.
Yassierli said this policy aims to optimize community mobility during the Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 holidays.
"The implementation of WFA is carried out from December 29 to 31, 2025, while still paying attention to the needs of the company or industry," said Yassierli, Thursday, December 18.
Yassierli explained that the implementation of WFA can be excluded for certain sectors that are directly related to public services and production continuity, such as the health sector, manufacturing, hotels and hospitality, shopping centers, food and beverage industries, and other essential sectors.
Furthermore, Yassierli emphasized that the implementation of WFA is not considered as annual leave. Workers/workers who carry out WFA continue to carry out their work according to their duties and obligations, and receive wages as working in a regular workplace or in accordance with the labor agreement.
Regarding working hours and supervision of the implementation of work carried out by workers/workers who work on WFA, he said, it is regulated in such a way by the company so that workers remain productive.
