There is a Prosecutor Involved in OTT in Tangerang, KPK Coordinates with Kejaksaan

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) carried out a hand-in-hand operation (OTT) in the Tangerang area, Banten on Wednesday night, December 17. From the activity, it was stated that there were prosecutors who were also secured.

"That there is indeed security for the prosecutor," said Deputy Chairman of the KPK Fitroh Rohcahyanto to reporters at the KPK Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday, December 18.

Fitroh has not explained the matter about the prosecutor. He only said, after the silent operation was carried out, coordination was carried out with the Attorney General's Office.

"Memang kan sudah ada koordinasi dengan Kejaksaan Agung, nanti kita lihat lah hasilnya," tegasnya.

Meanwhile, KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo confirmed the OTT last night. There were a number of parties who were brought by the team.

"Until last night, the team secured a total of five people in the Banten area," Budi said this morning.

The five people are still undergoing an examination at the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta. According to legal regulations, the anti-corruption commission has 1x24 hours to determine the status of the party who was secured.

"We wait for the process together. Currently, intensive examinations are still being carried out for all parties," said Budi.

"Whoever is secured, related to what, we will convey at the next opportunity."
