MMD Apartment Demolition to be Carried Out at the End of December, Residents Confident that the Ministry of Defense Will Maintain a Conducive Situation
JAKARTA - The execution of the eviction of the Marinatama Mangga Dua (MMD) shop on December 31, 2025 is estimated to be canceled by Inkopal because the MMD residents' lawsuit process is still rolling at the Jakarta PTUN.
This was conveyed by the lawyer for 42 MMD Pademangan residents, Subali. In his statement, Subali said, the Kemhan lawyer ensured that the atmosphere would be maintained and there would be no evacuation until the verdict.
"The legal representative of the Ministry of Defense will maintain a conducive situation and there will be no evacuation until the inkrah decision," Subali said in a statement received, Thursday, December 18.
It is known that Inkopal has sent a warning letter to 42 residents of the Marinatama Shop House owners who are currently in the trial process at the Jakarta PTUN. In the letter issued by Inkopal on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, there are several points that are detrimental to residents.
Among them, Inkopal no longer extends the lease after 25 years of being inhabited by the owner of the Marinatama Shop and is asked to return the use rights certificate (SHP) issued by Inkopal and return the shop in good condition because it is a state-owned property (BMN).
According to Subali, the pressure from Inkopal on 42 residents of Marinatama Mangga Dua clearly caused fear, because Inkopal deployed uniformed officers when distributing the letter while checking the contents of the shop.
"(inkopal) is not allowed to carry out emptying while waiting for a decision from the court that has the force of law," said Subali.
Previously, the trial for the cancellation of SHP NO 477 on behalf of the Ministry of Defense was back in motion at the Jakarta PTUN on Wednesday, December 16, 2025.
The agenda of the trial was to examine the evidence from the intervener plaintiff who had a letter in the form of eigendom NO 18728.
In the trial, Queen Ivon and her lawyer were present as interveners. In this trial, there was an addition of evidence from the intervener, and showed the original letter in front of the panel of judges.
Before the trial was closed, Subali, as the lawyer for 42 MMD Pademangan residents, told the panel of judges that the On-Site Examination (PS) trial would be held on Monday, December 22, 2025.
The reason, explained Subali, was that this was done because of a summons to vacate letter sent by Inkopal to 42 residents who owned MMD Pademangan shops.
Furthermore, the parties agreed that the PS hearing would be held on December 22, 2025. In fact, the assistant judge suggested that security be prepared by the police so that during the PS hearing the situation would remain conducive.
However, the power from the Ministry of Defense (Kemhan) Lieutenant Satu Wahyu conveyed to the chairman of the panel of judges that the PS would be carried out at the initial agreement, namely Monday, January 5, 2026, because his party would coordinate with the leadership for security.
