Korean Street Snacks Trends that are Increasingly Popular among Indonesian Gen Z

JAKARTA - Indonesian people's enthusiasm for Korean culture is increasing, not least in terms of food. Korean street food or Korean Street Snack trends are now starting to be widely sought after, especially among Gen Z who are also following the development of K-Pop and K-Drama.

Moreover, the report of the 2024 Foreign Hallyu Survey released by the South Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism (MCST), Indonesia ranked first as the country with the highest level of interest in Korea, reaching 86.3 percent.

In addition to emphasizing the authentic taste, the experience of enjoying Korean cuisine is also strengthened through cooperation with Korean Chef. Narae Hahn, chef explained about his involvement in the development of the menu.
