BNI Wins Two International Awards for Human Capital Development
JAKARTA - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI has again received international recognition for the consistency of human resource development (HRD) through the BNI Corporate University. The company won two prestigious international awards that confirmed the quality of learning strategies and strengthening employee capabilities sustainably.
The first award was won at the 2025 International Customer Experience Awards (ICXA) held at Park Plaza London Riverbank, England. In this event, BNI Corporate University won the Gold Award Winner for the Best Learning and Development category - Over 5.000 Employees.
BNI Director of Human Capital & Compliance Munadi Herlambang said the award reflects the success of the strategic transformation carried out by BNI in developing human capital capabilities.
"BNI places learning as an integral part of business growth, by making employees the center of development and leaders as coaches in the learning process," said Munadi in a written statement.
ICXA is an international event that provides appreciation to organizations with best practices in customer experience management, including learning and development strategies that have a direct impact on productivity and performance.
In the jury's assessment, BNI was judged to be superior through the implementation of Personalized Learning Journey, which aligns the learning process with organizational needs and performance improvement. This approach is built on three main pillars, namely Run the Bank, Change the Bank, and Transform the Bank, which include operational strengthening, innovation, and leadership development.
In addition, BNI Corporate University is considered to have successfully built a culture of continuous learning through various digital initiatives, such as microlearning, BNU CorpU TV YouTube channel, webinars, and the organization of the Learning Festival. These programs have reached more than 44,000 BNI employees in Indonesia and abroad.
Previously, BNI Corporate University also won the Gold Winner in the Branding & Durability category at The 2025 Global Corporate University Awards held in Paris, France. In this event, BNI outperformed Choice University (United States) and The Oberoi Group (India).
The jury panel assessed that BNI Corporate University has succeeded in building a strong learning identity that is integrated with the organization's strategy through the slogan 'Learn, Grow, Lead', as well as the consistent use of various internal and external communication channels.
"This award strengthens the belief that structured and adaptive human capital development is the main foundation for BNI's competitiveness in the midst of industry dynamics and digital transformation," said Munadi.
