BI Records QRIS Transactions Growing 143.64 Percent in November 2025

JAKARTA - Bank Indonesia (BI) reported that the volume of digital payment transactions through the Indonesian Standard Quick Response Code (QRIS) in November 2025 continued to grow rapidly by 143.64 percent (yoy) supported by an increase in the number of users and merchants.

Governor of BI Perry Warjiyo said that the growth of digital economic and financial transactions in November 2025 remained high supported by a safe, smooth, and reliable payment system.

"The volume of digital payment transactions reached 4.66 billion transactions or grew 41.12 percent (yoy) in November 2025 supported by the expansion of digital payment acceptance," Perry said in a press conference, Wednesday, December 17.

Furthermore, the transaction volume of mobile and internet applications grew by 15.91 percent (yoy) and 16.11 percent (yoy), respectively.

Meanwhile, in terms of infrastructure, the volume of retail transactions processed through BI-FAST reached 439 million transactions or grew 29.77 percent (yoy) with a transaction value of Rp. 1,092 trillion in November 2025.

Perry said that the volume of large value transactions processed through BI-RTGS was recorded at 0.87 million transactions, with a value of Rp. 20,463 trillion in November 2025.

Meanwhile, in terms of managing Rupiah money, the Distributed Kartal Money (UYD) grew 13.09 percent (yoy) to Rp1,250.60 trillion in November 2025.
