Frequency Plus, the number of LRT Jabodebek users reaches 1.2 million people
JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) or KAI recorded an increase in the number of users of the Jabodebek LRT in early December 2025, reaching 1,275,679 users, with an average of 91,120 users per day.
This increase is in line with the addition of travel frequencies.
Since December 1, 2025, the number of daily trips on the Jabodebek LRT on weekdays has been increased from 396 trips to 430 trips per day, with the addition of train sets from 24 to 26 sets.
LRT Jabodebek Public Relations Manager, Radhitya Mardika Putra, said that in the period from 1 to 14 November 2025, LRT Jabodebek served 1,231,955 users. Meanwhile, in the period from 1 to 14 December 2025, the number of users increased to 1,275,679 users.
"Overall, there was an increase in the number of users of around 3.55 percent compared to the same period in the previous month," he said in an official statement, Tuesday, December 16.
Radhitya said that on a daily basis, the peak number of users in the period from 1 to 14 November 2025 occurred on Wednesday, 5 November 2025, with 106,898 users. Meanwhile, in the period from 1 to 14 December 2025, the highest number of users was recorded on Thursday, 4 December 2025, which reached 112,025 users.
In addition, based on the accumulated user volume in the period from December 1 to 14, 2025, the three stations with the highest number of users are Dukuh Atas BNI Station with 363,131 users. Then, Harjamukti Station with 291,289 users. Then, Kuningan Station with 236,984 users.
Radhitya said this increase reflects the consistent use of services after operational adjustments were made.
Radhitya said, KAI through the Jabodebek LRT will continue to evaluate the operational pattern and service performance to ensure that the service continues to run stably, safely, and is able to meet the mobility needs of the community every day. "Adjusting the number of trips and routes since the beginning of December provides capacity that is more in line with user needs. The increase in the number of users in the period from 1 to 14 December shows that the Jabodebek LRT service is increasingly being used as a daily transportation mode," he said.
