Small Explosion in the Ceiling, 2-storey House in Koja Burns Down

JAKARTA - A unit of a resident's house located on Jalan Lagoa Terusan, Gang 4, RT 18/03, Koja District, North Jakarta was devoured by the red hero on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.

The fire burned a two-story house with an area of 32 square meters. Saodah, the owner of the house is estimated to have suffered a loss of more than IDR 100 million.

Meanwhile, the burned object is a two-story house. According to Gatot, the fire in the location is suspected to have occurred due to an electrical short circuit.

Meanwhile, from Saodah's statement, the incident was known to him while resting and suddenly heard an explosion on the ceiling of the house due to a short circuit.

"Smoke and fire came out of the ceiling and the victim asked residents to put out the fire and contact the fire department," said the victim.

There were no casualties due to the fire. The owner only suffered material losses.
