Drama “Reply 1988” Cast Releases OST for 10th Anniversary

JAKARTA - The actors of the drama Reply 1988 not only reunited, but they will release a special OST. They gathered to celebrate 10 years since the drama aired.

"We prepared this OST as a gift for fans who have loved the drama for 10 years," said the director of the Reply 1988 drama, Shin Won Ho.

OST or Original Soundtrack is a song that accompanies a drama or film. This time, the actors will sing songs that were previously OST from Reply 1988.

The first song will be sung by actor Park Bo Gum and will be released on December 19. Then, there are two songs that will be released on December 26.

The two songs were sung by the mother actors, Lee Il Hwa, Ra Mi Ran, and Kim Sun Young.

The other song will be sung by the children of the Ssangmundong kids gang, namely Ryu Hye Young, Hyeri, Go Kyung Pyo, Ryu Jun Yeol, Park Bo Gum, Ahn Jae Hong, Lee Dong Hwi, and Choi Sung Won. The producers have not revealed the three song titles they will sing.

"You can feel the emotions that only actors can feel through the story and the characters. Like the original OST that reminds you of the drama, the OST of Reply 1988 10 years consists of songs that evoke memories close to the heart," said OST producer Ma Joo Hee.

The actors of Reply 1988 will reunite in three special episodes that will air starting December 19.
