Ubisoft Acquires March of Giants Rights from Amazon, Ready to Develop New MOBA Game
Ubisoft has acquired the rights to March of Giants from Amazon. Along with that, the Montreal-based development team behind this MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) project will join Ubisoft to continue developing the game together.
After the closed alpha test of the game was successful, the developers are preparing the next large-scale update, which will introduce new monsters, an expanded competitive mode, and a basic system designed to support long-term growth.
As part of this agreement, Amazon will also provide marketing support to Ubisoft for March of Giants on Twitch.

March of Giants is a new MOBA game that combines lane-based combat, battlefield domination, and hero coordination. Since it was first revealed, the game has attracted strong enthusiasm from players.
March of Giants is led by an experienced team, including Xavier Marquis as Creative Director, and Alexandre Parizeau as Senior Producer. Both are veteran developers with previous ties to Ubisoft.

Meanwhile, Xavier Marquis said his team's reunion with Ubisoft was a continuation of their creative journey.
Alexandre Parizeau added that the closed alpha phase had proven the great potential of March of Giants, and the collaboration with Ubisoft opens up the opportunity to develop this game into a long-lasting competitive MOBA.
The acquisition deal is expected to be completed on December 16, with financial details not disclosed to the public.
