PNBP Fisheries Capture Passes Rp1.02 Trillion until December 14, 2025
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) has recorded that the Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) from capture fisheries of natural resources (SDA) has reached Rp. 1,027 trillion as of December 14, 2025.

Director General of Fisheries Capture KKP Lotharia Latif explained that in 2023 the results of the PNBP only reached Rp731.56 billion, then rose to Rp1.05 trillion in 2024 and in December 2025 this has reached Rp1.027 trillion.
English:
"We see that in 2023 the achievement of the PNBP is approximately Rp731.56 billion, then in 2024 it is Rp1.05 trillion and this year Rp1.027 (trillion), but our estimate may be up to Rp1.150 trillion at the end of the year," said Lotharia in a press conference. Achievement of the Marine and Fisheries Performance of the Directorate General of Capture Fisheries, quoted from the live broadcast of the KKP YouTube, Tuesday, December 16.

According to Lotharia, the results of the PNBP will be returned to all regions in Indonesia in order to improve the welfare of fishermen.
English:
"From this PNBP, it is returned to all regions that may not have been able to explore and optimize fishing in Indonesia, that is, what is called equitable distribution," he said.

In addition, Lotharia also reported that the national capture fisheries production had reached 6.562 million tons as of December 15, 2025.
English:
"In 2024, our production catch is approximately 7.8 million (tons) and as of today, it is still 6.562 (million tons). However, our prognosis will be in the range of 7.850 until the end of December 2025," he said.

Lotharia assessed that the number of fish catches in Indonesia is still higher than aquaculture. This indicates that Indonesia has not been able to maintain the sustainability of the fishery ecosystem itself.
English:
"In some developed countries such as Vietnam, it is a fishing catch of 3 million, its productivity is already 20 million a year. In China, it is even more extreme, the catch is reduced to only 2 million, but its productivity is almost 60 million. Indonesia is still a fishing catch higher than aquaculture," said Lotharia.
English:
Therefore, in the future, strategic steps such as improving the pattern of time of arrest until there is a moratorium are needed.
English:
"In the future, we will inevitably also carry out such modifications gradually," he added.
