SEA Games 2025: Rowing and Triathlon Add 4 Gold Medals to Indonesia

JAKARTA - The Indonesian contingent's medal haul at the 2025 SEA Games has increased again. On Tuesday, December 16, 2025, until 11.20 WIB, a total of four additional medals from the triathlon and rowing sports.

The Indonesian men's aquathlon team managed to become champions. This achievement became the 54th gold for the Indonesian Contingent at the 2025 SEA Games.

The men's aquathlon team consisting of Muhammad Noval Ashidiq, Al Kautsar, and Rashif Amila Yaqin managed to be the best in the men's aquathlon team relay.

The success of the men's aquathlon team to become champions also made Indonesia successful in combining the gold medals for the men's and women's doubles at the 2025 SEA Games.

Previously, the women's team first won the gold medal. The women's aquathlon team, which was strengthened by Binta Erlen Salsabela, Kayla Nadia Shafa, and Martina Ayu Pratiwi, was successful in being the fastest in the women's aquathlon relay.

Not wanting to lose to triathlon, the rowing sport also contributed two gold medals at the same time on Tuesday morning. La Memo managed to win the 2025 SEA Games gold medal after being the best in the men's single sculls.

Memo was able to touch the finish line with a time of 8 minutes 10.247 seconds. He was quite ahead of his competitors from Thailand and the Philippines who finished in second and third place.

Following Memo, rowing again contributed gold in the lightweight men's quadruple scull. The additional gold brings Indonesia's total gold to 56 pieces.
