Ducati Pulls Back Panigale V2 and Streetfighter V2 due to ABS Circuit Problems
JAKARTA - Ducati North America announced a recall of a number of Panigale V2 and Streetfighter V2 units due to a potential error in the installation of the braking system component. This recall includes the 2025 Ducati Panigale V2 as well as the 2025 and 2026 Ducati Streetfighter V2.
The problem found is related to the installation of a fuse on the ABS system. The 25A fuse for the ABS pump and the 10A fuse for the ABS control unit, along with the fuse holder, are allegedly installed upside down.
The error occurred at the supplier level during the assembly process, so that the position of the components did not match the manufacturer's specifications. As reported by Rideapart, Tuesday, December 16.
Ducati explained that this potential production error occurred in certain units produced within a limited time frame. For the Streetfighter V2 in 2025 and 2026, the affected motorcycles were produced between March 31 and June 12, 2025.

Based on Ducati North America's records, around 1,016 motorcycles are potentially affected, equivalent to around 1.2 percent of the total population of the related model. In the safety recall report, Ducati mentioned some indications that riders can feel.
If the ABS pump fuse breaks during braking, the "ABS Error" warning message may appear and remain on the instrument panel. In addition, the ABS indicator light may also turn on and not turn off.
In the worst case, if the two installed fuses are reversed, the 10A fuse can break and cause the ABS pump not to work as it should. This situation risks locking the front or rear wheels during braking, thereby increasing the potential for accidents and injuries.
Ducati North America is scheduled to inform its dealer network on December 15-22, 2025. Meanwhile, affected motorcycle owners will receive official notification between January 26 and February 2, 2026.
Owners will be asked to contact the nearest Ducati official dealer for a free inspection of the fuse and its seat. If there is a problem with the installation, the repair will be carried out free of charge.
