Fuel and Elpiji Consumption Projected to Increase During the Christmas and New Year Period

Meanwhile, the projection of the distribution of liquefied petroleum gas during the Christmas and New Year Posko period is predicted to increase by about 7.2 percent compared to the average distribution of normal distribution.

To ensure the smooth supply, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources through the Directorate General of Oil and Gas and Pertamina has alerted 40 LPG terminals, 736 SPPBE, and 6,634 LPG agents.

The prognosis for the durability of national LPG stocks is safe with a coverage day of elpiji in the range of 12 days. The condition of the elpiji stock is maintained to remain stable and the LPG agents and bases are prepared on standby 24 hours a day, especially for areas with high demand.

Meanwhile, the gas subholding is committed and consistently maintaining the safety and reliability of the distribution of natural gas from suppliers to 3,334 commercial and industrial customers, 2,845 small customers, more than 817,000 household customers of jargas.
PGN also ensures the supply of gas to power plants through more than 34,000 km of gas pipeline network, 16 SPBGs, and 74 regencies/cities.
