Two Trans Sumatra Toll Roads Apply 20 Percent Discount, Check the Amount

JAKARTA - PT Hutama Marga Waskita (Hamawas) will impose a discount or tariff reduction of 20 percent on two sections of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) as an effort to optimize the smoothness and comfort of people's driving before Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 (Nataru 2025/2026).

The discount is valid for the longest distance travel with the origin of Pangkalan Brandan-Sinaksak and the opposite direction and Kisaran-Sinaksak and the opposite direction.

Hamawas President Director Dindin Solakhuddin said the tariff reduction was aimed at easing traffic congestion during the peak of the Nataru holiday, in accordance with the government's policy to minimize people's travel costs.

The 20 percent toll rate reduction applies to two peak periods of the homecoming and return flow. The homecoming period, namely December 22, 2025 at 00.00 WIB until December 23, 2025 at 24.00 WIB. The return flow period, namely December 31, 2025 at 00.00 WIB until December 31, 2025 at 24.00 WIB.

"With the approval of the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT), this 20 percent toll rate reduction applies to all I to V groups of continuous travel," Dindin said in a written statement, Monday, December 15.

Dindin hopes that the discount policy will be able to distribute vehicles evenly and prevent congestion at certain points. The discount is also expected to encourage an increase in the volume of tourist travel, especially to the Danau Toba Super Priority Tourism Destination (DPSP).

The increase in mobility to Lake Toba is also supported by the opening of the Sinaksak-Simpang Panei Toll Road functionally.

Hamawas appeals to all road users to ensure that the electronic money balance is sufficient and drive according to the applicable rules. Complaints can be reported to the Kutepat Call Center at +62812 9595 3536.
