Murder in Indrasari Village, Martapura, Began from a Challenge to Fight

BANJAR - Banjar Police, South Kalimantan (Kalsel), revealed the motive for the murder case which started with a verbal altercation and a fight challenge that occurred in Indrasari Village, Martapura District, Banjar Regency.

Police Chief of Banjar AKBP Fadli said that the Banjar Police Criminal Investigation Unit revealed a murder case and named two suspects, namely the initials MA and A who are still on the Person Search List (DPO), while the victim had the initials MD.

"Fadli said the incident in the case started from a verbal altercation and a fight challenge that ended in persecution using a sharp weapon type keris, resulting in the victim's death due to a stab wound in the chest.

"In addition, the Banjar Police Chief also conveyed that the Martapuratengah Police revealed another murder case.

"The murder in Indrasari Village, Martapura, was carried out by the suspect MI against the victim AK, which was triggered by inheritance problems, so that he was charged with Article 338 of the Criminal Code," he said.

Police Chief of Banjar emphasized the commitment to complete all criminal cases, including pursuing the murder suspect who is still at large.
