Kemenkop Inaugurates Command Center to Accelerate Digitalization and Oversight of Red and White Kopdes
JAKARTA - Minister of Cooperatives (Menkop) Ferry Juliantono inaugurated the Command Center as part of efforts to accelerate the digitalization and transformation of cooperatives in Indonesia, especially in the implementation of the Red and White Village/Neighborhood Cooperative (Kopdes).

Command Center is present as a center for information systems and operational supervision of cooperatives, especially Kopdes Merah Putih. Integrating data from various institutions, including rolling fund managers, to support the acceleration of physical development and the development of cooperatives as a whole.

"We have a mandate to accelerate the transformation of cooperatives so that they are more competitive and develop, so that cooperatives can catch up with state-owned enterprises and private business entities," said the Minister of Cooperatives in the Grand Launching of the Command Center at the Office of the Ministry of Cooperatives (Kemenkop), Jakarta, Monday, December 15.

Ferry emphasized that his party had taken various strategic steps, including rebranding the cooperative so that the term and its role would be popular again in the community.

Ferry said that one of the main focuses of the transformation was digitization. By utilizing technology, the Ministry of Cooperatives, Industry, and Small and Medium Enterprises hopes to improve reporting and supervision of cooperatives more effectively. Therefore, digitization is the key so that his party can interact directly and monitor more intensively.

This system, the Command Center is also equipped with an early warning system to detect potential problems early so that preventive measures can be taken immediately.

"We want cooperative problems to be resolved as soon as possible, so that it does not have a wide impact," he added.

Through the Command Center, the Ministry of Cooperatives, Ferry continued, can monitor the real-time training process and cooperative business activities, both in villages and other cooperatives. He emphasized that this dynamic and real-time data-based cooperative transformation is the main foundation for the Ministry of Cooperatives' future work.

Through this transformation, he continued, cooperatives are expected to become more dynamic and able to adapt to the development of time, including in terms of operations, physical development, training, and business model development.

Ferry also revealed that the Command Center will integrate various related parties, including the Ministry of Villages and Regional Development, the Attorney General's Office (Kejagung), and the rolling fund management agency (BLU) in the Cooperative Ministry.

"With this synergy, we are optimistic that the acceleration of the formation and development of the Red and White Kopdes can run more effectively and coordinated," he hoped.

Ferry expressed his appreciation to all parties involved, from the prosecutor's office, the Task Force, to other government agencies that support the implementation of Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 9 of 2025 and Presidential Instruction (Inpres) Number 9 of 2025.
