Beyoncé Sets Record for Highest-Grossing Tour with Cowboy Carter

JAKARTA - American diva, Beyoncé, has once again carved a glorious history in the music performance industry. Her concert tour titled "Cowboy Carter" was officially crowned as the tour with the highest gross revenue for the solo artist category throughout 2025.

This achievement confirms the diva's dominance on the world stage, even with a relatively short number of performances.

According to data announced by Billboard Boxscore, the 32-show "Cowboy Carter" tour series, which ended in Las Vegas last July, managed to rake in gross revenue of up to 407.6 million US dollars or around Rp6.3 trillion.

The fantastic figure was obtained from a total of 1.6 million ticket sales for the entire series of performances.

This achievement places Beyoncé far ahead of her closest competitor in the solo artist category, The Weeknd, with 46 performances of the "After Hours Til Dawn" tour that raised 336.7 million US dollars.

However, the record for the highest grossing tour of the year 2025 overall is still held by Coldplay, through the "Music Of The Spheres" tour. Chris Martin et al. recorded a total income of 464.9 million US dollars from 59 performances.

Coldplay's global tour, which has been underway since March 2022, also made history as the highest grossing rock tour of all time and became the second tour to surpass the $1 billion mark.

Previously, the "Cowboy Carter" tour had broken the record as the highest grossing country tour ever.

The success also makes Beyoncé the first United States artist to have two different tours with gross revenue of over 400 million US dollars.

The previous tour, "Renaissance" in 2023, is said to be one of the best-selling tours of all time - collecting 579 million US dollars from 56 performances.
