"Well, of course we are compiling it because documentation is very important. With documentation, we can do something more than just the data that is stored. So this is an effort to document violence against women in Indonesia. Because day by day, the things that Indonesian women face are special, typical," said Chatarina in an online meeting entitled Soft Launching Map of Violence against Women's Experiences in Jakarta on Monday, quoted by Antara.

He said, one of the recommendations was to strengthen knowledge about the variety and intersectionality of gender-based violence issues against women in personal relationships, which can be expanded to include the digital technology realm.

Another recommendation, he said, was that Komnas Perempuan assessed the need for strengthening the implementation of laws from a victim and gender perspective so that it was important to carry out socialization and training for law enforcement officers (APH).

In addition, his party also recommends the need for service system reform to ensure access and safety of victims (by increasing the capacity of the PPA UPTD) and the provision of digital emergency services.

In addition, Komnas Perempuan also assessed the need for strengthening safe houses and community-based service networks (sustainable funding).

"So the update of the Indonesian Women's Experience Violence Map is a media of advocacy as well as an effort to strengthen prevention and assistance to victims, which of course is adjusted to the changing social and technological context," he said.
