Innalillahi, Two People Killed Dragged By Waves In Patai Batu Beku, Two More Still Missing

JAKARTA - As many as two tourists were reported dead, and two others are missing, after being dragged by waves at Batu Bengkung Beach, Gajahrejo Village, Gedangan District, Malang Regency, East Java, Wednesday, May 26.

Members of the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Community-Based Disaster Preparedness Team (Sibat) Gedangan Subdistrict, Malang Regency, Sampur said based on the reports received, there were five people who were dragged by the waves at Batu Bengkung Beach.

"The death toll was found there were two people," said Sampur, when reported by Antara, in Malang, East Java, Wednesday, May 26.

Sampur explained that out of a total of five victims who were dragged by the waves, two people were found dead, one person was taken to the hospital, and two others have still not been found to date.
