For information, on November 10, the Pertamina International Refinery (KPI) has started the initial operation of one of the main units that plays an important role in the RDMP Balikpapan project, namely the Residual Fluid Catalytic Cracking (RFCC) unit.

Through this RFCC unit, the residue can be reprocessed to produce high-value products, namely gasoline, propylene and LPG.
"This means that the processing process at the Balikpapan Refinery will later be maximized. All parts of crude oil are processed into valuable products," said Milla, Thursday, November 23.
The capacity of the Balikpapan Refinery RFCC itself reaches 90,000 barrels per day. This is the largest RFCC unit in Indonesia.
