Tol Japek II South is not opened functionally during the Nataru holiday, here's the reason
JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) as the operator ensures that the South Jakarta-Cikampek (Japek) II Toll will not be opened functionally during the long Christmas and New Year holidays 2025 (Nataru 2025/2026).
This was stated by Jasa Marga President Director Rivan Achmad Purwantono when met by reporters after the Jasa Marga Integrated Apel for Operational Alert for Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 at TMII, Jakarta, Monday, December 15.
"So, (Toll) Japek is in finalization and based on traffic, the trend is still not necessary to open Japek," said Rivan.
According to Rivan, his party is rushing to complete the toll road so that it can be functional during the Eid al-Fitr or Lebaran 2026 holidays.
"It's better if we prepare Japek, yes, we estimate that it will be functional in Lebaran (2026), but with the lights already installed," he said.
He said, his party will prepare Tol Japek II Selatan much better, so that it can support the smooth homecoming of the community during the Eid holiday next year.
"Well, it's better that the preparation is much better and we have matured this with the National Police," he added.
