Banten Selected as Location for Mass Akad 50 Thousand Units of Mortgage Nationwide

Banten - Banten Province was chosen as the location for the mass home ownership credit (KPR) ceremony, which targets the realization of 50,000 subsidized housing units nationwide, which will be held on Thursday, December 18.

The Chairman of the Banten Real Estate Indonesia (REI) DPD, Roni Hadiriyanto Adali, in Serang, Sunday, December 14, conveyed his pride for the trust given to Banten to host a major event centered at the Pondok Banten Indah (PBI) Housing, Serang City, Banten.

"Of course we are proud because this area will be used as a place for mass marriage nationwide of 50 thousand units. We from the Banten REI DPD fully support and have coordinated with the managers and members to help with the host's readiness," he said after holding a meeting to prepare for the implementation of the mass marriage, quoted by Antara.

Roni explained that although this event is national scale with a total of 50,000 units, for the implementation location at PBI itself, an agreement will be made for about 300 units. He hopes that this momentum can be a positive echo for the acceleration of the absorption of subsidized houses in the Banten region.

According to Roni, this enthusiasm is inseparable from various policies of the Ministry of Housing and Spatial Planning (PKP) which are considered very pro-people. These policies include the elimination of the Land and Building Rights Acquisition Tax (BPHTB) and Building Building Approval (PBG) to zero rupiah.

"In addition, the interest is flat 5 percent until the tenor is completed, as well as the assistance of a down payment subsidy of Rp. 4 million. This year's quota which reaches 350 thousand units is an extraordinary thing that has just happened in the era of the current President," he added.

Regarding the preparation of the event, Roni said that the Minister of PKP Maruarar Sirait had conducted a direct inspection of the location to ensure that all preparations were carried out according to standards, considering that this event was scheduled to be attended by the President of the Republic of Indonesia.

"Minister Ara has high standards. He checks and monitors preparations in the field. We pray that everything goes smoothly and provides benefits for the community, local governments, central governments, to developers," concluded Roni.
