Rs Wisma Atlet Records Covid-19 Patient Improvement Trend Since Eid Al-Fitr
JAKARTA - The number of patients at the COVID-19 Emergency Hospital (RSDC) Wisma Atlet Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, increased by 188 people as of today, Wednesday, May 26. That number increased compared to the previous day's data.
Based on data until 08.00 WIB, there were 1,511 COVID-19 patients treated at RSDC Wisma Atlet.
"The number increased by 118 people from yesterday. Originally 1,393 to 1,511 people," said Public Relations Rs Wisma Atlet Marine Colonel Aris Mudian in a written statement, Wednesday, May 26.
Meanwhile, Coordinator of COVID-19 Emergency Hospital Wisma Atlet Major General dr Tugas Ratmono said that the trend of increasing patients began to occur since last week after the Eid al-Fitr holiday ended.
"From the monitoring since May 18, based on the digital dashboard that we have, this (number of patients) continues to increase the graph," said Tugas.
The task explained, on May 18, there were only 900 patients treated at Wisma Atlet Hospital. While the level of availability of Wisma Atlet Hospital at that time was only 15.02 percent.
For the capacity of Wisma Atlet Hospital, Tugas said, it is still safe. The four towers in Wisma Atlet Kemayoran Hospital can accommodate up to 5,994 patients.
There is also a spare tower in Wisma Atlet Pademangan so that the total capacity can accommodate 8,000 patients.
Nevertheless, he warned that Wisma Atlet Hospital could be full of patients if the public did not comply with health protocols.
"This is what we have to take care of. If it doesn't prevent it, the hospital can be filled with patients. It's important we have to keep our masks on, wash our hands, avoid crowds, reduce mobility," said Tugas.
