After the match, Akira Higashiyama expressed his appreciation to Vietnam for dominating throughout the match. However, he emphasized that his team should not be immersed in disappointment and must immediately rise to face the last match.

"I would like to congratulate Vietnam for advancing to the final," Akira Higashiyama said in an official statement quoted on Sunday, December 14.

He emphasized that the target of the Indonesian Women's National Team is now to win a bronze medal in the third place match.

"Bronze is our target. This is our last match. I have to focus on the players and show the spirit of Indonesia when facing the opponent," said Akira.

Akira admitted that his team had the opportunity in the first half. However, the physical condition of the players who began to decline made the Indonesian game not develop as planned.
