In his instructions, the President ordered relevant ministries and agencies to make preparations to maintain price stability and ensure smooth running during the year-end holiday period.

Teddy said that in the meeting, the latest developments in the national economy, including customs and taxation aspects that affect the distribution of goods and people's purchasing power, were also discussed.

The government has also prepared a number of incentives to support the smooth running of the year-end holidays. These incentives include a significant reduction in toll road rates, air tickets, trains, ships, to the use of public facilities, to ease the burden on the public while maintaining economic movement.

As is known, the government launched a nationwide transportation ticket discount program ahead of the 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year holidays.

In addition, the government is preparing the National Cash Direct Assistance (BLT) as part of the 2025 fourth quarter economic stimulus package which runs from October to December. This program is focused on maintaining people's purchasing power in the midst of economic dynamics.

The National BLT will be distributed to around 30 million beneficiary families who are considered to need direct support.

The government hopes that the combination of these stimuli will be able to maintain economic stability while supporting economic growth at the end of 2025 to early 2026.

Teddy added that the limited meeting was held immediately after President Prabowo carried out a direct inspection of the disaster-affected locations in Aceh. The Head of State wants to ensure that the recovery agenda goes hand in hand with the national readiness to face the surge in community mobility in the last period of the year.
