Dinsos Records 16 Public Kitchens Still Helping Refugees in Agam West Sumatra
JAKARTA - The Social Service (Dinsos) of Agam Regency, West Sumatra (Sumbar) has recorded that 16 of the 29 public kitchens are still active to help refugees affected by hydrometeorological disasters in the area.
"There are 16 public kitchens that are still operating which are spread across five sub-districts," said the Head of the Agam Social Service Villa Erdi in Lubuk Basung, Sunday, quoted by Antara.
He said the 16 public kitchens were spread across Tanjung Raya District, specifically in Nagari or Maninjau Village, Bayua, Duo Koto, Koto Kaciak and Sungai Batang.
For the Palembayan District, several in the Salareh Aia Utara Village, Salareh Aia Timur, Tigo Koto Silungkang.
Meanwhile, in the Malalak District in Bukik Malanca, Jorong Toboh, Campago and the head of the village.

He added that of the 16 public kitchens, one unit belonged to the Agam Social Service to partner with the Nagari Salareh Aia Utara public kitchen, because the area had quite a lot of refugees, volunteers and others with a total of around 1,300 people.
Meanwhile, another 15 public kitchens are kitchens established by the local community together with the nagari government.
Previously, there were 29 public kitchens from the beginning of the disaster that were spread across 10 sub-districts. However, only 16 public kitchens remain, after the refugees have returned to their respective homes.
