Referring to Gaikindo data, the distribution of vehicles from the factory to dealers or wholesales BYD from January to November 2025 amounted to 40,151 units and the Denza brand was 7,176 units.

Meanwhile, for shipments from dealers to consumers directly in the same period, a total of 39,289 units for the BYD brand and 7,047 for models under the Denza brand.

He revealed that the Indonesian automotive market continues to grow and every year is very good. He compared it with the Chinese market, whose penetration is not as fast as in Indonesia.

"Let's look back for a moment, since two years ago the BEV market share was only 2 percent. Then it increased to 5 percent, and now 12 percent in just 3 years. Now imagine 2 percent to 12 percent in just two years, but in China it takes at least 8 years," he explained.

The increase is due to the Indonesian government's assistance, especially in terms of incentives. Indeed, incentives are very helpful in boosting the sale of electric cars in the country, and next year is being developed.

"We appreciate the domestic market because of the support of the government and our friends can achieve this," he said.
