Rejecting Donald Trump's Help, Tom Cruise's Space Film Project Officially Cancelled

JAKARTA - The dream of movie fans to watch Tom Cruise's action in space must be buried.

The reason is that the revolutionary film project involving SpaceX and NASA has reportedly been officially canceled, not because of technical or budgetary problems, but for political reasons.

According to an exclusive report from Page Six, this ambitious project, which will be directed by Doug Liman, requires special permits and high-level coordination from the United States federal government, especially NASA.

However, sources say Tom Cruise is rumored to 'not want to ask for help from Donald Trump' who was then president, to smooth the way for the project.

An internal source revealed that Cruise's reluctance was purely political.

"Tom doesn't want to ask her for political reasons," the source said, quoted by VOI from Page Six, Sunday, December 14.

The actor, known for keeping his political neutrality, was worried that the move would have an impact on some of his fans.

This attitude is reinforced by the fact that Cruise had previously also rejected the Kennedy Center Honor award from Trump on the grounds of "scheduling conflicts".
