Not Just Cars, China's Battery Industry Also Moncer to Soar 52 Percent
JAKARTA - In addition to China's electric car market getting bigger, it turns out that it also has an impact on the battery industry which again recorded impressive performance. Throughout November 2025, the national battery sales volume jumped significantly.
This is in line with production expansion and increased installations in various segments. The data was released by the China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance and reported by IT-home, as reported by Carnewschina, Saturday, December 13, 2025.
In the monthly report, it was stated that the combined sales of power batteries and other batteries in November 2025 reached 179.4 Gigawatt hours (GWh). This figure increased by 8.1 percent compared to October 2025, and jumped 52.2 percent year on year (year on year).
Of the total, the power battery accounted for the largest share with sales of 134.0 GWh or 74.7 percent of the total. Sales of power batteries grew 7.8 percent on a monthly basis and 52.7 percent on an annual basis.
