The assistance was symbolically handed over by the Director of Sido Muncul, Irwan Hidayat to the Director of UNIMUS Hospital, dr. M. Riza Setyawan, MOSH, FISQua accompanied by the Deputy Chairman of Perdami Jateng, Dr. dr. Trilaksana Nugroho, M.Kes, FISCM, Sp.M(K). This event was also attended by the Minister of Basic and Secondary Education, Prof. Dr. Abdul Mu'ti, M.Ed, as well as representatives of local governments and invited guests from various elements.

The five patients who completed free cataract surgery in the initial batch received a direct gift from Irwan Hidayat, marking moral support for their recovery process.

All of these social activities are carried out as part of the company's responsibility so that our presence brings benefits," he said.

Irwan said that business sustainability is not solely measured by the size of the business, but rather by how much benefit it can provide to the community.

"A business can be successful and long-lasting if it can provide benefits. So, I use all the capabilities of the Sido Muncul fund to do something useful: about the environment, about tourism, about health. This is my way of promoting while helping. The goal is to live as well as possible and be useful," said Irwan.

Even though it has helped more than 56 thousand cataract patients, Irwan emphasized that his party will continue to strive to hold free cataract surgery, because the need for cataract surgery in Indonesia is very large, it can reach 300 thousand every year.

"We will continue to do this as long as we are able. This year there have been 1,050 free cataract operations, although there are still tens to hundreds of thousands. Next year we will still do free cataract operations," he added.
