Good News! Registration for Free Motor Homecoming Service with Train Extended
JAKARTA - Good news for people who want to bring motorbikes during the 2025 Christmas and New Year (Nataru) homecoming. The Directorate General of Railways (DJKA) of the Ministry of Transportation officially extended the registration period for the program.
Director of Traffic and Railway Transportation, Arif Anwar, explained that the Motis program with this train was extended until January 5, 2026. This decision, he said, was based on the high interest and enthusiasm of the public to participate in this program during the Nataru holiday.
"Alhamdulillah, as of today, at 20.00 WIB, there are 1,844 motor units with 3,052 passengers registered to participate in the Motis Nataru 2025/2026 program," said Arif in an official statement, Friday, December 12.
With the extension, continued Arif, the registration of Motis is now open for two waves. The first wave registration takes place from December 1 to 29, 2025. Meanwhile, the second wave, starting from January 1 to 4, 2026.
Meanwhile, transportation will be carried out on December 23 to 30, 2025 and January 2 to 5, 2026.
"Registration can be done online through nusantara.kemenhub.go.id or offline by visiting the registration location," he said.
Offline registration can be done at a number of stations, including Jakarta Gudang Station; Tangerang Station; Bekasi Station; Depok Baru Station; Cirebon Prujakan Station; and Tegal Station.
"Then, Pekalongan Station; Semarang Tawang Station; Purwokerto Station; Kebumen Station; Kutoarjo Station; Lempuyangan Station; and Purwosari Station," said Arif.
Arif said the Motis Nataru 2025/2026 service will be present on two main crossings, namely the North Crossing and the Central Crossing.
On the Motis North Cross service, the train will stop to serve the public at several stations, namely Jakarta Gudang Station; Pasar Senen Station (for passengers only); Bekasi Station (for passengers only); Cirebon Prujakan Station; Tegal Station; Pekalongan Station and Semarang Tawang Station.
Meanwhile, for the Central Line, it will serve the Jakarta Gudang Station; Pasar Senen Station (for passengers only); Bekasi Station (for passengers only); Cirebon Prujakan Station; Purwokerto Station; Kebumen Station; Kutoarjo Station; Lempuyangan Station and Purwosari Station.
Motis Terms and Conditions of Service
In order to be able to follow the Motis Nataru 2025/2026 program, the public is expected to follow the following terms and conditions:
1. Participants are not currently registered or participating in other free homecoming programs
organized by any party;
2. Registration through nusantara.kemenhub.go.id which is followed by direct verification at the designated registration post location;
3. Register by submitting an active email;
4. Motorcycle < 200cc;
5. Attaching the Family Card, ID card, driver's license and vehicle registration certificate which are still valid; and
6. Participants who have successfully registered in the Motis program, are obliged to participate in this program. Cancellation for other reasons, must confirm to the registration post no later than H-7 before the departure schedule. Participants who cancel without confirmation, cannot participate in the motis program in the next period.
In addition to motor transportation services, Motis participants will also be facilitated with free train tickets for two passengers and one ticket for children under three years of age as long as the ticket quota is available. "We are optimistic that all the Motis quotas that we provide, namely 5,568 motor units and 12,720 passengers, can be met with this high public enthusiasm," concluded Arif.
