Police Wait Forensic Results Caused Four People Died In Cars On Tegal Toll Road

TEGAL - Tegal Resort Police, Central Java, stated that until now they are still waiting for the forensic results of the cause of four victims who died in a car on the Tegal toll road on Thursday (11/12).

"We are still waiting for the official results of the team of doctors and forensic laboratories for the results of the autopsy and textology. So, we have not been able to convey directly (the cause of death) before getting official results from the laboratory or the doctor in charge," said Tegal Police Chief AKBP Bayu Prasetyo as reported by ANTARA, Friday, December 12.

He emphasized that before the police received official results (the cause of death of the victim from the team of doctors, the police did not dare to speculate on giving information.

"That is what determines the doctor. As long as we have not received the official results from the doctor, we do not want to provide a statement that can later change the atmosphere," he said.

The police confirmed that the cause of the deaths of the four victims was not due to acts of violence or abuse.

"When the officers were found, the victims died from the results of a few hours of examination. At that time the vehicle was dead with the air condition of the air condition still alive and the car window closed," he said.

The police chief said that from the results of the witness examination, the car the victims were traveling in had stopped at KM 250 and was visited by toll officers because the wife of the car driver was unconscious.

"However, by the husband (the driver of the car) it was rejected so that the person concerned was made a statement rejecting the medical letter," he said.

Four victims who died on the Tegal toll road are still in the same family. They departed from Bekasi to their hometown in the Pacitan area, East Java.
