Jembrana Regency Government Seals Investor Building In West Bali National Park

The Jembrana Regency Government, Bali sealed the investor building on the West Bali National Park (TNBB) land according to the recommendations of the local DPRD after conducting a surprise inspection at the location.

"We ask to be sealed because the building does not yet have a Building Approval permit which is the district government's authority," said Jembrana DPRD Chair Ni Made Sri Sutharmi.

He said, although several types of permits were already owned, investors should wait for all types of complete permits including Building Approval (PBG) to start building.

Regarding PBG, according to him, the relevant agencies in the Jembrana Regency Government have asked the company to take care of it, but it has not yet been carried out.

Sri Sutharmi also expressed disappointment because PT. Panorama Menjangan Bali as an investor did not meet her.

On the land located on the side of the Denpasar-Gilimanuk highway, the board group was accepted by the Head of the West Bali National Park Office, Nuryadi.

Sri Sutharmi said the TNBB land area reached 19 thousand hectares with around 5000 hectares that could function for the utilization zone.

Especially for PT Panorama Menjangan Bali, he said, managing 30 hectares in the utilization zone.

"According to the rules, of the area of land managed by investors, only ten percent can be used for the construction of facilities and infrastructure," he said as quoted by ANTARA.

Regarding permits and other technicalities, Sri Sutharmi promised to submit the meeting with the Jembrana DPRD to the company and its institutional leaders.

The Jembrana DPRD conducted an inspection at the location after receiving reports of construction on TNBB land such as gate and a number of other buildings.

Sri Sutharmi asked investors to provide clarification to the DPRD, because TNBB is a forest area that supports the environment in Bali.

"We are not blocking or prohibiting investment in Jembrana. However, everything must comply with the rules, especially in the TNBB area which is a buffer for the forestry sector in Bali," he said.
