Liverpool Players Still Support Arne Slot
JAKARTA - Liverpool players insist that they always support Manager Arne Slot. The Dutch coach is said to remain excited as usual to change the club's fate.
Most recently, Liverpool beat Inter Milan 1-0 in the Champions League on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, early morning WIB, thanks to a penalty in the final minutes from Dominik Szoboszlai.
"We always support him. We always support him. In the end, he is human. If we lose the game, it affects him, it also affects all of us, just like it affects the fans."
"He's a positive person, he's always making changes. The style of the game has changed a bit. He's still as excited as usual, exactly the same as us. He's here with us and we're also here with him," Curtis Jones said of whether the dressing room still supports Arne Slot or not.

The win was a huge push for Arne Slot and his players after Mohamed Salah's explosive interview after the 3-3 draw against Leeds United at the weekend heated up the dressing room.
Salah was expelled from Liverpool's squad on a trip to Inter Milan after he sensationally accused the club of dropping him and claiming his relationship with the manager had deteriorated.
"That's not our decision, as players. I love you as a human being, as a friend of mine. As a player, he has done a lot for this club. This will be the club's decision and himself."
"I was very close to him. It was his own choice of what he did with his life and his own career."
"I don't think it has anything to do with the players, so there's nothing to say about that," said Dominik Szoboszlai about Salah.
While Jones replied that he did not want to comment on the drama the Egyptian player made.
"Mo is herself. I can't talk about other people and his business. Everyone knows how legendary Mo is. I can't comment on that. The situation he's in, it's not my business to say it," said Jones.
Victory against Inter Milan has temporarily put Liverpool in the top eight of the Champions League standings. However, Jones quickly pointed out that the Reds still have work to do before they can think they have gone through the worst crisis lately.
"It's just one game. Only one game. The last match (against Leeds United) was 2-0 up and we drew."
"There are fans there who might think we're still in trouble. However, the team's mindset has changed. You can see how the players, you can see the game there, no one can say we don't deserve to win it (against Inter Milan)."
"I think we deserved it. It's only about every game we play. However, his mindset has changed."
"If you win the game, it's always the best feeling. We just won an important game against a good and great team."
"The atmosphere of the heart is happy. If we lose points against a team that we should be able to beat, we will always be disappointed. We will always question why."
"We came back, analyzed the game, made changes, and then came out and won," said Jones.
Nearby, Liverpool will host Brighton on Saturday, December 13, 2025, WIB night. The Reds entered the match with the ambition of ending two games without a straight win.
