BYD Prepares A Complete EV Ecosystem In Indonesia Starting In 2026
JAKARTA - BYD Motor Indonesia has a strong commitment to the national automotive market in 2026, this brand from China will build a complete EV ecosystem.
This was revealed by the President Director of PT BYD Motor Indonesia, Eagle Zhao. He said that apart from being complete, it was also comprehensive.
"For the BYD brand, we plan to continue to present relevant product products for the Indonesian people. Also, we will continue to present BEV models next year," he said, when met in Sentul, Bogor, Thursday, December 11.
In addition to presenting products, BYD also plans to add a network of dealers in Indonesia, especially targeting areas outside Jakarta to continue to grow the EV market in Indonesia.
"Starting from strong network growth, we continue to expand across the country with a target of 150 dealers by 2026," he added.

The next commitment is to strengthen attendance through the development of local industries. BYD plans to start local production starting in 2026, and the factory is completed by the end of 2025.
"Including production and infrastructure investment to support the growth of the national supply chain," he explained.
