Toyota BZ4X Officially Launches In The Philippines, Cheaper Prices Than Indonesia

JAKARTA - Toyota Motor Philippines officially launched its newest electric vehicle bZ4X for the local market, after last month the official order was opened.

Based on a report from Top Gear PH, quoted on Friday, December 12, Toyota bZ4X only has a single variant priced at 2,699 million pesos or around Rp760 million, or cheaper than the Indonesian version which touched Rp799 million from the Jakarta OTR even though it had been produced domestically.

For those who want the colors Platinum White Pearl Mica/Attitude Black Mica and Precious Metal/Attitude Black Mica and Emotional Red/Attitude Black Mica, there are additional costs.

Vice President of TMP same as Marcial, said it would take time and strategic planning to launch what the company calls a multi-path approach to carbon-neutral mobility, which involves education and customer readiness.

"From building our widest line of hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) and introducing battery electric vehicles (BEVs) through our luxury brand Lexus, we believe we are ready to make BEVs more common with Toyota bZ4X," he said.

In terms of design, the front carries a new look typical of Toyota as worn on Prius, Camry facelift, and CH-R+, which Toyota says is slimmer and more aerodynamic.

In specifications, Toyota bZ4X has a total output of 338 hp and 338 Nm torque and is equipped with a 73.11 kWh battery. With a full charge, this car can cover a distance of about 570 km. The specifications offered in Indonesia are no different.

The latest Toyota bZ4X is equipped with the latest Toyota Safety Sense which includes Pre-Collition System (PCS), Automatic High Beam (AHB), Adaptive High Beam System (AHS), Lane Tracing Assist (LTA), Lane Departure Alert (LDA), and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC). The Blind Spot and Panoramic View monitors, as well as the Digital Inside Review Mirror, are increasingly helping drivers by providing better road visibility.
