Masniari Wolf Ready For The 2026 Asian Games After Printing A Golden Hattrick At The SEA Games
JAKARTA - Masniari Wolf will immediately prepare for the 2026 Asian Games at Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, after winning the 2025 Thailand SEA Games gold medal. Masniari got gold after becoming the best in the final of the women's 50-meter backstroke swimming which took place at Swimming Pool, Sports Authority of Thailand, Bangkok, on Thursday, December 11, 2025.
"Now I am targeting to go to the Asian Games next year. Preparations must be good," said Masniari in an official statement received in Jakarta.
Masniari shot the fastest to finish line with a time of 28.80 seconds. His performance has been unstoppable since the race started until it touched the finish wall.

The silver medal from this event was won by Thailand's host, Saovanee Boonambahai. The bronze medal belongs to the Filipino athlete, Kayla Noelle Sanchez.
This is Masniari's third consecutive gold at the biennial multi-branch event after previously he also came out as the best in Vietnam 2021 and Cambodia 2023.
Masniari said that as an experienced player in the event he still felt there was pressure when he was about to start the race.
"Honestly, before the match I felt nervous, but I was just trying to give my best and it turned out that the results were very happy," he said.
Masniari actually went down with other Indonesian swimmers, namely Flairene Candrea, in the women's 50-meter backstroke final. However, Flairene could only finish in fourth place with a record swimming time of 28.98 seconds.
