KPK Leaders Call All Members Of Commission XI DPR 2019-2024 Opportunity To Be Dragged Into The BI-OJK CSR Case
JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Johanis Tanak said that allegations of corruption in the social program or CSR Bank Indonesia (BI) and the Financial Services Authority (OJK) have the opportunity to be developed. All members of the DPR RI for the 2019-2024 period who did not channel the budget properly could be named suspects.
As for the BI-OJK CSR corruption case, the KPK has named two suspects. They are former members of Commission XI of the DPR RI, namely Heri Gunawan and Satori.
"All members of commission XI who receive funds from BI and OJK must be legally responsible like two members of commission XI who have been named suspects," Johanis told reporters via text message, Friday, December 12.
Meanwhile, KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo said that his party is currently focusing on resolving the alleged BI-OJK CSR corruption that ensnared Heri Gunawan and Satori. However, his party did not rule out the possibility of developing cases based on the facts obtained from the examination of witnesses and trials.
"Including investigators, of course, they have also studied the witnesses who had previously been summoned, both from BI-OJK and from friends at Commission XI," said Budi.

Previously reported, the KPK officially announced the legislators of the DPR from the NasDem Satori Party faction and Heri Gunawan as legislators of the DPR from the Gerindra Party faction as suspects in the alleged corruption of BI-OJK CSR funds. Both are suspected of receiving gratuities and committing money laundering (TPPU).
Satori is suspected of receiving social funds with a total of Rp. 12.52 billion in this case. The details are Rp. 6.30 billion from BI; Rp. 5.14 billion from OJK through Financial Counseling activities; and Rp. 1.04 billion from other working partners of Commission XI of the DPR.
The money is allegedly used for personal needs, such as deposits, land purchases, showroom construction, purchases of two-wheeled vehicles, and purchases of other assets.
Meanwhile, Heri Gunawan received a total of Rp15.86 billion and used it also for personal gain. The details are Rp6.26 billion from BI; Rp7.64 billion from OJK through Financial Counseling activities; and Rp1.94 billion from other working partners of Commission XI DPR.
The money is called the KPK which is accommodated in an account. Heri Gunawan then used it to build restaurants, manage drink outlets, purchase land and buildings to four-wheeled vehicles.
