JAKARTA - The Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) through the Directorate General of Regional Administration Development (Ditjen Bina Adwil) sent a large team to conduct an inventory of data on the impact of flash floods and landslides, as well as confirming the construction of the Red and White Village/Sub-District Cooperatives in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra Provinces.

Director General of Bina Adwil, Safrizal Zakaria Ali, emphasized that data accuracy is the key to post-disaster recovery.

Accurate investment is the foundation for accelerating recovery and handling of basic post-disaster community services. We ensure that every field data is verified, including the progress of the construction of the Merah Putih Cooperative as a center for strengthening the village economy," said Safrizal, quoted from ANTARA, Friday, December 12, 2025.

Safrizal revealed that the team was given the mandate to carry out field duties on December 10'14, 2025. The mandate includes collecting disaster impact data, checking the progress of the construction of village/kelurahan cooperatives, and reporting daily to the Command Post for the Acceleration of Recovery, Rehabilitation, and Construction in each province.

This assignment was led directly by high-ranking officials from the Ministry of Home Affairs in each affected province. Safrizal directly led the assignment in Aceh Province, while North Sumatra was led by the Director General of Dukcapil Teguh Setyabudi, and West Sumatra was led by the Director General of Highways, Ahmad P.
