KPK Reveals Central Lampung Regent Designs His Teamses To Win Procurement Projects

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) revealed that Central Lampung Regent Ardito Wijaya designed an opportunity so that his success team when running as a candidate for regional head could win the procurement project.

This was conveyed by the daily executor (Plh) of the Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK, Mungki Hadipratikto, when announcing the determination and detention of five suspects after the arrest operation (OTT) on Monday and Tuesday, December 9. Ardito allegedly ordered Riki Hendra Saputra as a member of the Central Lampung Regency DPRD to arrange the winner of the procurement project in a number of Regional Apparatus Work Units (SKPD).

"The rehabilitation or provider of goods and services that must be won is a family-owned company or belonging to the AW winning team, when AW ran for the Regent of Central Lampung for the period 2025-2030," said Mungki at a press conference at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday, December 11.

The order, continued Mungki, came after Ardito was inaugurated or around February-March. The posture of the Central Lampung Regency APBD reached IDR 3.19 trillion.

Mungki said this gift was carried out through Riki and Ardito's younger brother, Ranu Hari Prasetyo. Then, Ardito also did the inspection of the medical device procurement project at the Central Lampung Health Office (Dinkes).

Ardito allegedly asked Anton Wibowo as the acting head (Plt) of the Central Lampung Regional Revenue Agency who is also a relative of him to help with the occupancy process. As a result, PT Elkaka Mandiri won a three-pack medical device procurement project by the Central Lampung Health Office with a value of IDR 3.15 billion.

"For this condition, AW is suspected of receiving a fee of Rp. 500 million," said Mungki, adding that the money was obtained from Mohamad Lukman Sjamsuri as Director of PT Elkaka Mandiri.

As for this case, the KPK then named Ardito as a suspect along with four other people. They are Riki Hendra Saputra as a member of the Central Lampung DPRD; Ranu Hari Prasetyo as Ardito's younger brother; Anton Wibowo as the acting (Plt) Head of the Central Lampung Regional Revenue Agency as well as a close relative of Ardito; and Mohamad Lukman Sjamsuri as a private party or Director of PT Elkaka Mandiri.

As a result of his actions, Ardito, Anton, Riki, and Ranu as recipients were suspected of violating the provisions of Article 12 letter a or Article 12 letter b or Article 11 or Article 12 B of Law No. 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law no. 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law No. 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption Jo. Article 55 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Lukman as the giver is suspected of violating the provisions of Article 5 Paragraph (1) letter a or Article 5 Paragraph (1) letter b or Article 13 of Law No. 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law no. 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law No. 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption Jo. Article 55 paragraph (1) 1 of the Criminal Code.
