SMK Creative Festival Events Increase Rapidly, Involve The Public And Film Industry

JAKARTA - The cinematographic and animated festival of SMK, Bluvocation Creative Fest 2025, which has reached its second year, has again been held by presenting 8 films consisting of 4 short movies and 4 live animated films on the cinema screen.

High enthusiasm from students and parents is the main fuel for this expansion. The Chief Executive of this event, Cika Mutiara, told how high the positive response was received.

"So their enthusiasm is very, very high. Not only their children, but their parents are also very high. That's why we want to have a two-time session later... in different cinemas," said Cika Mutiara in the South Tangerang area, Wednesday, December 10.

The school does not want to stop at one location. Principal of SMK Budi Luhur, Joko Waluyo, revealed a roadmap for the screening of these works which will move relayedly.

"This year we will show it, yes, in (one cinema), then we will go to (other cinema networks), and later we will end up showing it at the Ministry Office," explained Joko Waluyo.

Their biggest ambition lies in the broadcast plan in front of policy makers. The school wants to show the real results of vocational education directly to the ministry leadership.

"Of course it will be witnessed by the Minister and the Deputy Minister for talk shows, as well as what activity coverage ... and broadcasts as well," added Joko Waluyo.

In addition to targeting officials, the target of this festival audience is actually the general public. Cika Mutiara ensured that these films were safe to watch by the wider public.

"Generally, everything can be done. Because our films also have certificates, there is a Film Censorship Institute (LSF), it has passed the film censorship as well," he said.

This movement is expected to be an inspiration that the work of school children has quality that deserves to compete at the national level.

"Just stay in the cinema, we just want to show it to other cinemas. So more people can watch our work," concluded Cika Mutiara.

For information, the 2025 Bluvocation Creative Fest itself is Budi Luhur's annual event where it is initiated as a form of implementation and application of the Corporate Entrepreneurship Creative Project (PKK) subject initiated by the SMK Directorate. This subject focuses on developing innovation capabilities that can be economical value.
