Getting To Know ELO, Citroen's Smart Answer To Future Mobility

JAKARTA - Citro Maritime Affairs has again rocked the automotive world by launching its latest unique and interesting concept car. Citro harun ELO is called a laboratory of ideas that actually embodies brand values in innovation and creativity.

"ELO is a new step in an extraordinary period for Citroyan. It's an idea laboratory that perfectly embodies our values: creative, brave, accessible, responsible, clever, and dedicated to prosperity," said Citro CEO Xavier Chardon, quoted from the manufacturer's website, Friday, December 12.

After the success of the Oli concept in 2022, ELO (which is an acronym for rEST, pLay, wOrk) is taking further steps, offering optimistic and intelligent solutions to contemporary challenges. This concept proves that future cars must be responsible, accessible, functional, and most surprising: small it could be big.

As a bold vision of better future mobility, Citro total ELO will make its world debut at the Brussels Motor Show on January 9.

Maximum Space In Minimum Size

Although it has a compact length of only 4.10 meters, the size of an electric city car, ELO is surprising with its outstanding coconut and interior modularity. The secret lies in the optimal utilization of a dedicated 100 percent electrical architecture that places the motor on the back axis. This design creates an interior space designed as a true modular 'lifespace', capable of accommodating up to six people with unique seating configurations, including a central driver seat that can rotate 360$. ELO redefines the exterior size ratio and interior volume, making it a perfect 'small house' over wheels for city life.

ELO is designed not just a means of transportation, but as a versatile companion who is able to adapt to all aspects of life: travel, relax, play, and work. Its intelligent modularity allows ELO to transform. In an instant, it can be a comfortable moving office with folding tables and full connectivity, a rest room with two inflatable dropstitch beds (a collaboration with Decathlon) and cinema projectors, or even a 'base camp' for outdoor activities, thanks to V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) technology that can power electrical equipment.

Sustainable Smart And Material Collaboration

Citromen collaborated with two expert partners, Decathlon and Goodyear, to strengthen practical aspects and environmental responsibility of ELO. Decathlon designers contribute to outdoor features, such as outdoor chairs that can be removed into outdoor chairs and integrated tents. Meanwhile, Goodyear developed Xplore's smart Eagle tires with SightLine technology, designed for everyday use and adventure outside the highway. In terms of responsibility, ELO uses recycled and sustainable materials, such as extended polypropylene, which is also used on Decathlon bicycle helmets, for bumpers and wings, in order to reduce the weight and environmental impact.

Futuristic Driving Experience And Energy-filled Design

The ELO Cockpit showcases new interface innovations: information is projected onto transparent screens across the width of the windshield, creating a more simple and cheaper technological floating information effect than conventional head-up display. Behind its excited design, highlighted by its excitating bright orange colors of excitement, ELO is a functional and emotional pairing. Modern simulator silhouettes with large glass surfaces, asymmetric backdoors, and large roof openings for stellar views confirm that ELO is an energy 'bubble' designed for convenience and joy in mobility.
