After Success With D9, Denza Shows Off Plans To Present A New Model Next Year

JAKARTA - The premium brand from BYD, namely Denza, already has one mainstay model, namely D9, a premium MPV combining elegant designs, smart technology, and rebounded conveniences, ensures that every trip feels comfortable.

The model is quite well received, even referring to Gaikindo data, its total distribution is through 7,176 units, a figure that is quite good for a new model.

"For the Denza brand, the launch has received a very good request," said President Director of PT BYD Motor Indonesia, Eagle Zhao, during a media meeting in Bogor, West Java, Thursday, December 11.

Interestingly, next year Denza will continue to provide interesting surprises for the Indonesian automotive market. Eagle said Denza would introduce other segments.

"In 2026, Denza will even introduce other segments under the brand (Denza), such as SUVs, maybe," he added.

Unfortunately, he did not describe in detail what model would be brought under the auspices of the Denza. However, BYD had exhibited Denza Z9 GT as a luxury sedan for high performance electricity.

The model is embedded with advanced technology such as a propulsion system for three electric motors with a power of almost 1,000 hp and the ability of "Crab Walk". There is a Z9 sedan that has a premium look.

It is worth waiting for a breakthrough from Denza for 2026 which is only a matter of days. Will IIMS be the main stage?
