B10 Leapmotor Officially Launches In Malaysia, Prices Start At IDR 437 Million

JAKARTA - Stellantis Malaysia officially launched the B10 Leapmotor, the fully electric SUV that became the second model of the Chinese car manufacturer to be sold in Malaysia, after C10 last year.

Based on a report from Paultan, quoted on Thursday, December 11, the model comes in two variants priced from 107,800 ringgit or the range of IDR 437 million, and the highest variant of IDR 482 million.

In dimensions, the length is 4,515 mm, the width is 1,885 mm, and the height is 1,655 mm, and the wheel distance is 2,735 mm, smaller than its competitor is eMas 7, which is 4,615 mm long, 1,901 mm wide, 1,670 mm high, with a wheelbase of 2,750 mm.

By design, B10 offers a clean shape, although generic and from certain side and back angles, its lines feature some touch of German style, which will make it very interesting.

The salient elements include a sleek full-LED headlights with a distinctive plaid flag-style DRL, with back lighting reflecting the front with LED rearlight blades along the body.

Only available in rear-wheel drive configurations, which are assigned 56.2 kWh and 67.1 kWh batteries with each offering a distance of 361 km and 434 standard WLTP km.

Entering the cabin, a cabin similar to C10, with the same structure and lines. However, several elements have been redesigned. The central console has a floating multifunction area that integrates handwear, dual phone seats with 15 watt wireless charging pads.

Supported by Qualcomm Snapdragon SA8155 chipset and equipped with memory up to 16GB as well as integrated Adreno 640 GPUs, the system offers a new graphics user interface, which the brand says offers a more intuitive and smooth experience.

Five exterior color options are available for this SUV in Malaysia, namely Starry Night Blue, Dawn Purple, Pearly White, Tundra Gray, and Metallic Black.
