Undergoing A Match Of Determination Against Myanmar, PSSI Asks The U-23 Indonesian National Team To Fully Concentrate

JAKARTA - PSSI Deputy General Chair (Waketum), Ratu Tisha Destria, asked the U-23 Indonesian national team players to appear with full concentration at the moment. This is related to the final match of the group phase against Myanmar at the 2025 SEA Games.

The U-23 Indonesian national team will have their last match in Group C of the 2025 SEA Games men's soccer sport by facing Myanmar at the 700th Anniversary Stadium, Tokyo Mai, Friday, December 12, 2025.

In the match which took place at 18.00 WIB, the Garuda Muda squad was obliged to win in order to maintain hope of qualifying for the semifinals even though it was unlikely. With a task not easy, the players were asked to concentrate fully.

Thasha emphasized that Indra Sjafri's team does not need to worry about the dynamics in other groups that have a bigger chance of qualifying. He hopes that the U-23 Indonesian national team will go all out against Myanmar.

"Anyway, focus, whatever the tournament is. Of course there are still many shortcomings, for sure. If that's for sure because nothing is perfect. However, we have to face matches per match," he said.

A burning message was also conveyed by the U-20 Indonesian national team coach, Nova Arianto. He wants Garuda Muda to remain confident in the midst of a narrow opportunity to qualify for the knockout phase.

"If I say, we have to be sure, yes, we have to believe, once again, we have to have a dream that we can still win the SEA Games. Never care about anything because I believe they have all given their best."

"Hopefully in the last match, despite whatever the result of the match between Vietnam and Malaysia, I think we have to be positive and we will be able to win," Nova said.
